Bangkok, the 7th of October 2010: Jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce’s Export Promotion Department and two giant shopping centers – Central World and Siam Paragon, the week-long event to be held during Oct 20-26 and feature several fashion-related activities including runway shows, trade negotiations, seminar and fashion fair.
Oct 20-26: Update the latest fashion trend at runway shows featuring leading fashion brands in Thailand such as Kai, Flynow, Disaya, T-Ra, Boudoir, MobF and many more at CentralWorld and Siam Paragon.
Oct 20-21: Trade negotiations will be held to open opportunities among participants and buyers from leading malls worldwide and overseas importers.
Oct 24: Gain knowledge and share idea at “The Balancing between Design and Commerce” seminar by Bhanu Inkawat, owner and creative director of Greyhound, and Koi Suwannagate, Thai-born fashion designer based in the US whose collections are popular among high profile celebrities including the United States’ first lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and many more.
Oct 25: An exclusive gala dinner, expected to be the event of the year, is to be held at the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall, Arun Amarin Road. One of the highlights will be “London-Bangkok” fashion show by world renowned designer Vivien Westwood who will present a special collection designed from hand-woven Thai silk bestowed upon by HM Queen Sirikit. The event will be live broadcast via Modern Nine TV.
Also, fashionistas are invited to enjoy shopping spree at the fashion fair featuring more than 300 sale booths during Oct 20-26.
